What Does Ozone Do? Where can it be used?
In chemical terms ozone is an oxidizer. In simpler terms it destroys
bacteria, viruses, parasites, amoeba, mold, fungus, and also
breaks down (destroys) harmful chemicals and impurities. It
is 35 times more powerful than chlorine and yet leaves no harmful
chemicals or byproducts behind, and if used properly and in
the proper amounts, it is completely non-toxic.
Due to these wide ranging effects, ozone can be used successfully
